Yes, we are based in New Zealand. However, all products are shipped from our warehouse in Australia.

GST is calculated at checkout and included in the final price. You do not pay any additional customs duties.

From 1 April 2026: A Low-Value Goods Levy applies to imports valued at or below NZ$1,000. This levy covers Customs and biosecurity border management costs.

The levy is:

• Air freight: NZ$2.21 per consignment (excl. GST)
• Sea freight: NZ$2.09 per consignment (excl. GST)

Your freight forwarder pays these levies and will include them in your invoice. This ensures fairer cost recovery for border management.

Freight costs are automatically calculated at checkout.

In some special cases, additional freight fees may apply based on:

• Weight of the order
• Rurality – if the address is out of the metro delivery area, the cost will increase

We work with trusted freight carriers (Aus Post and DHL) to ensure timely delivery of your products.

For New Zealand customers we offer:

12-month warranty on new machines

3-month warranty on used or refurbished machines

We provide 'back to base' technical support with technicians located in:

• Auckland
• Christchurch
• Wellington

If you are located outside these cities and cannot or prefer not to commute, you may ship the item requiring service to one of these three locations.

Currently, we do not have a showroom in New Zealand. However, we have a workshop located on the North Shore. Pick-ups can be made from this workshop, but shipping costs will still apply.

This levy applies to:

• Both Customs and biosecurity (MPI) services

Why was it introduced?

Previously, taxpayers were subsidising the costs of offshore e-commerce platforms. The new levy ensures each consignment contributes fairly to border management costs.

How does it work?

Your freight forwarder or carrier pays the levy and includes it in their invoice to you. The amount is:

• Air freight: NZ$2.21 per consignment (excl. GST)
• Sea freight: NZ$2.09 per consignment (excl. GST)

Exemptions: Diplomatic goods, carnets, and human remains are exempt from the levy.

For orders valued over NZ$1,000, different customs levies apply:

• Air freight: NZ$51.81 per entry (excl. GST)
• Sea freight: NZ$51.81 per entry (excl. GST)

These are called High-Value Goods Import Levies and cover the more detailed customs clearance process required for higher-value shipments.

GST (15%) still applies to all customs and biosecurity levies.
