Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship to the United States?

Yes. We ship from our Australia warehouse to all 50 US states. Shipping methods vary based on order size:

  • Smaller items (accessories, parts, home grinders): International express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS)
  • Home espresso machines: International express air freight, fully insured with tracking
  • Commercial machines: International air freight with door-to-door delivery

โœ… Duties and import taxes are calculated and included in your checkout total โ€” your order ships Delivered Duty Paid (DDP).

How long does shipping take?

Once your order is dispatched (see dispatch times below), estimated delivery times to the USA are:

  • Express air freight (smaller items & home machines): 5-10 business days to USA
  • Air freight (commercial machines): 7-14 business days to USA

Delivery times depend on customs clearance and destination. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships, and we provide full support through customs if needed.

When will my order be dispatched?

๐Ÿงก Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched the next business day, as we're closed Saturday and Sunday. All other orders placed before 2 PM AEST (Sydney time) are dispatched the same business day.

Once dispatched, your order ships from our Australia warehouse and you'll receive a tracking number. See the delivery-time estimates above for transit times to the USA.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on the item size, weight, and destination. At checkout, you'll see real-time shipping quotes. For commercial orders, we'll often provide a custom shipping quote to ensure best pricing.

โœ… Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): Your order is shipped DDP, which means applicable customs duties and import taxes are calculated and included in your checkout total rather than billed separately when your order arrives. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay to Di Pacci.

New, Used & Refurbished Equipment

What's the difference between new, used, and refurbished?

New: Supplied in original packaging with warranty as confirmed at purchase (warranty terms vary by brand and product).

Used: Pre-owned machines sold "as-is" or with limited inspection. Lower price point, ideal for buyers who can perform their own service.

Refurbished: Pre-owned machines that have been thoroughly inspected, repaired (where needed), deep-cleaned, descaled, and tested to manufacturer specifications by our certified technicians. Refurbished machines come with our 90-day Di Pacci warranty and offer 30-50% savings vs new.

How do you refurbish your machines?

Every refurbished machine at Di Pacci goes through our multi-step process:

  • Initial inspection & diagnostic testing
  • Full disassembly & deep cleaning
  • Descaling of boilers and water lines
  • Replacement of worn gaskets, seals, and parts
  • Recalibration of pressure, temperature, and shot timing
  • Final quality control test pulls
  • Cosmetic detailing & polishing

Each refurbished machine ships with documentation of the work performed.

Warranty & Returns

What warranty comes with my purchase?

New machines: Supplied with warranty as confirmed at purchase โ€” coverage and term vary by brand and product.

Refurbished machines: 90-day Di Pacci parts warranty.

Used "as-is" machines: No warranty unless explicitly stated in the listing.

Accessories & parts: Warranty as applicable to the item.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused, factory-sealed items in original packaging.

Important notes:

  • A 30% restocking fee applies to all returns
  • Custom-ordered or special-configured items are non-returnable
  • Used "as-is" machines and accessories are non-returnable
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or defective

What if my machine arrives damaged?

If your machine arrives with shipping damage, please:

Choosing the Right Machine

What's the difference between home and commercial espresso machines?

Home espresso machines are designed for household use โ€” typically 1-20 drinks per day. They're more compact, plug into standard 110-120V outlets, and have smaller boilers. Examples: La Marzocco Linea Mini, Lelit Bianca, Profitec Pro 700.

Commercial espresso machines are built for cafรฉ and restaurant use โ€” capable of producing 100+ drinks per day. They have larger boilers, multiple group heads, often require 208-240V power, and use direct plumbing. Examples: La Marzocco Linea PB, Slayer Steam, Synesso S200.

What grinder should I pair with my espresso machine?

The right grinder depends on your machine, volume, and budget. Some popular pairings:

What water requirements do commercial machines need?

Water quality is critical for both machine longevity and coffee quality. Commercial espresso machines require:

  • Water filtration system (mandatory for warranty) โ€” to remove chlorine, sediment, and reduce hardness
  • Water hardness โ€” typically 50-150 ppm total dissolved solids (TDS)
  • Direct plumbing connection โ€” most commercial machines connect directly to a water line
  • Drainage โ€” for waste water and condensation

Improper water can cause scale buildup that voids manufacturer warranties. We can recommend appropriate filtration systems based on your local water and machine type.
