The Hottop B Coffee Roaster is a great little unit for the home enthusiast.
The Hottop KN-8828B is a top of the line coffee roaster that gives you complete control over the roasting process. With its programmable settings, you can easily adjust the temperature and roast time to get the perfect results every time. Plus, you can save your programs so that you can replicate your favourite roasts again and again. And because it has proportional heater power control, you can be sure that your beans will be roasted evenly every time. So if you're looking for the perfect cup of coffee, look no further than the Hottop KN-8828B!

Note that this is an official full-specification 230v/50Hz roaster, not the cheaper 110v/60Hz units designed for American power systems. 110v roasters and upgrade kits will not work properly on 230v supplies.

Works like a Dream!

The holes in this would cover roughly double the surface area of the stock 18g Expobar basket it is replacing. This size covers the large double to small triple shot size range. It is a perfect fit for my 58.5mm tamper. You will have to grind a fair bit finer to slow down the pour, but the upside is superior extraction. I am honestly surprised how much sweeter, tastier and more balanced this makes my home roasted coffee taste, despite being stronger. I didn't think a basket could make that much of a difference. The only downside it you have to whack the knock box a lot harder to get the puck out compared to the standard tapered baskets.
