The Melitta Barista TS Smart grinds, brews and froths at the touch of a button, with 21 drinks and a two-chamber bean container so two people can each have their own coffee.

The Melitta Caffeo Barista TS Smart is a bean-to-cup automatic coffee machine that makes 21 coffee drinks, from espresso and café crème to cappuccino and latte macchiato, with a 15 bar pump and an automatic milk system. Milk is drawn from an external container through a tube and frothed or warmed straight into the cup, so there's no steam wand to learn.

Its Bean Select two-chamber bean container lets you keep, say, a dark espresso blend and a decaf or lighter roast loaded at once and pick between them per drink. Personal drink settings can be saved to user profiles, and the Melitta Connect app lets you manage drinks, profiles and cleaning tutorials from your phone. It's 255 mm wide, holds 1.8 L of water and has a ground coffee chute for the occasional pre-ground cup.
