The Mahlkönig E64 WS is the brand's first purpose-built home espresso grinder, bringing the company's commercial engineering to a compact counter footprint. It pairs 64mm special-steel flat burrs with integrated grind-by-weight dosing accurate to 0.1 g, so every shot starts from the same dose.
Electronic Disc Distance Detection measures the gap between the burrs in microns and adjusts it electronically, compensating for thermal drift as the grinder warms through a session. With Grind-by-Sync, the E64 WS can pair with the Mahlkönig Sync Scale or compatible smart espresso machines to fine-tune grind size automatically as extraction data comes in, and app connectivity adds usage insights and software updates. Press the portafilter against the fork and it grinds to your target weight, then stops. Average output is about 2–3.5 g per second, and the 250 g hopper keeps beans fresh while fitting under most kitchen cabinets. It's finished in matte black.
