Description

Di Pacci — PID High-Cup Commercial Espresso Machine

XLVI Steamhammer Coffee Machine

The XLVI Steamhammer is an Italian commercial machine built around milk: extra-long steam wands, lever steam and PID-controlled heat for a busy bar.

The XLVI Steamhammer is a PID-controlled commercial espresso machine in 1, 2 or 3 group versions, with a 6, 8 or 10 litre boiler to match. Each group has a six-dose programmable touchpad, the groups sit high enough for takeaway cups, and the extra-long, lever-activated steam wands reach the bottom of big milk jugs.

It's built from thick stainless steel and designed for heavy use in milk-driven cafes. An LCD display, automatic washing, an energy-saving mode and automatic switch-off take some of the routine off staff, while the lever steam valves give a smooth, controllable release that's easy to train.

Key Features of the XLVI Steamhammer

🥛 Extra-long steam wands

Reach the bottom of large milk jugs, so you can stretch a litre of milk at once.

🎚️ Lever-activated steam

A lever gives a smooth, controllable steam release that's quick to learn.

🌡️ PID heating

Digital temperature control holds the boiler steady through a rush.

🎛️ Six doses per group

A touchpad on each group stores six programmable volumetric doses.

🥤 High groups

Room under the spouts for takeaway cups.

♻️ Energy saving and auto washing

Energy-saving mode, automatic switch-off and automatic washing cut routine work and power use.

Built for Milk-Based Coffee

Most Australian cafe orders are milk drinks, so the steam side does more work than the coffee side. The Steamhammer is set up for that.

  • Extra-long wands let you steam bigger jugs without tilting them awkwardly.
  • Lever valves open fully in one motion, giving consistent steam pressure from the first second.
  • A PID-controlled boiler recovers steadily between jugs, so pressure doesn't sag in a rush.

The result is faster, more consistent milk texture across a busy service, without needing a premium-priced machine.

Best for Kiosks, offices Most cafes High-volume bars

Di Pacci recommendation: The 2 group suits most cafes; the 1 group is a strong kiosk or office machine if you have a 15 amp circuit. Don't bother with the Steamhammer if you want independent temperature per group for single origins; look at the BFC Rise multi-boiler instead.
