Lelit Anita PL42TEMD — Built-In Grinder Espresso Machine, PID

Anita packs a genuine burr grinder into a compact single-boiler espresso machine, so there's no separate grinder taking up counter space. This PID version adds a dual-mode TermoPID controller for precise, independent brew and steam temperature — a real step up in control without losing the machine's small footprint.

The built-in 38mm conical burr grinder has micrometric stepless adjustment, dosing straight into the portafilter under Lelit's own 57mm L57 group head. Ready to brew in around 10 minutes and steam within a minute after that, it's a genuinely quick way into serious home espresso.

About This Machine

What size portafilter does the Anita use?
57mm — Lelit's own L57 group head, not the 58mm standard used on Lelit's other home machines. Baskets and accessories are Lelit57-specific.
Does this come with a tamper?
Earlier production runs included a plastic tamper. The latest version ships without one — we recommend a quality stainless steel hand tamper instead.
What's the difference between the PID and non-PID Anita?
This PID version (PL42TEMD) adds a dual-mode TermoPID controller for precise brew and steam temperature control. The non-PID version is simpler and more affordable, without that temperature fine-tuning.
How does the built-in grinder work?
The integrated 38mm conical burr grinder has micrometric stepless adjustment — dial in your grind, place the portafilter under the chute, and it doses straight in.
