Di Pacci — Multi-Boiler 2 Group Commercial Espresso Machine with TCI

Royal Rise 2 Group Coffee Machine

The Royal Rise 2 Group gives each group its own small coffee boiler with independent temperature control, built in Italy by CBC Royal First.

The Royal Rise 2 Group pairs an 11 litre copper steam boiler with two 0.8 litre coffee boilers, one per group, managed by Royal's T.C.I. independent temperature control. That means you can set the delivery temperature of each group separately, while a water preheating circuit and insulated boilers keep things stable through service.

It's a traditional-style machine where it counts, with heavy 4.4 kg thermocompression groups and a patented steam tap, and modern where it helps, with an OLED display, a multifunction external display and a programmable keypad for volumetric doses. Royal offers the Rise in total steel, total white, total black and coloured finishes.

Key Features of the Royal Rise 2 Group

🌡️ T.C.I. temperature control

Each group has its own coffee boiler, so you set delivery temperature group by group.

🔥 11 L copper steam boiler

Plenty of steam and hot water for a busy 2 group service.

🏗️ 4.4 kg thermocompression groups

Heavy traditional groups hold heat for consistent extraction.

♨️ Preheating circuit

Incoming water is preheated before the coffee boilers to keep temperature steady at volume.

📟 OLED and external displays

Clear readouts for settings and shot information in front of the barista.

💨 Patented steam tap

Royal's own steam tap design for smooth, controllable steaming.

How T.C.I. Multi-Boilers Help a Cafe

On a single-boiler heat-exchanger machine, every group shares one temperature, set indirectly by steam pressure.

  • The Rise gives each group a dedicated 0.8 L coffee boiler.
  • T.C.I. lets you set the delivery temperature of each group independently.
  • A preheating circuit and insulated boilers keep those temperatures stable when both groups are busy.

You can run a blend and a single origin side by side, each at its best temperature, without the drift that a shared heat exchanger brings in a rush.

Royal Rise vs a Heat-Exchanger 2 Group

Why pay for multi-boiler temperature control?

Feature Royal Rise Typical HX 2 group
Brew temperature Set per group (T.C.I.) Shared, set by steam pressure
Coffee boilers 2 × 0.8 L None (heat exchangers)
Steam boiler 11 L copper Varies
Temperature stability at volume Preheating + dedicated boilers Can drift in a rush
Best for Multi-blend specialty cafes Single house blend

Di Pacci recommendation: Choose the Rise if you want per-group temperature control at a lower price than the big-name multi-boilers. Don't bother if you only ever run one blend and want the simplest machine to maintain — a heat-exchanger 2 group will do the job for less.

Grinders for the Royal Rise

Two temperatures usually means two coffees, and two grinders.

Grinder Type Why it pairs well
Mahlkönig grinders On-demand flat burr Fast, accurate dosing for a busy bar
Fiorenzato grinders On-demand, touchscreen Easy dose setup for a second coffee
Mazzer grinders Flat / conical Durable cafe workhorses
