QuinSpin Portafilter Cleaner — Bench-Mounted Grounds Remover

The QuinSpin is a bench-mounted device that removes spent coffee grounds from a double portafilter basket in two stages, in roughly three seconds, without banging the portafilter on a knock box.

Press the portafilter onto the drill head and the spinning bristles lift out most of the puck, then move it across to the twin brush heads to clean the remaining fines and oil film from the basket walls. The motor turns at 400 RPM and starts automatically under the weight of the portafilter, with no switch or lever to operate. This is the current V2.4 generation in black polypropylene, with a stainless steel under-counter clamp set for mounting.

Will the QuinSpin fit my portafilter baskets?
It fits standard 58mm and 58.3mm commercial portafilters, but the drill head is cut to the exact geometry and depth of your basket, so we need the brand and dose when you order. Supported ranges include VST, La Marzocco, Pullman, IMS, Pesado, Weber Workshop, Big Bang, and WMF.
Does the QuinSpin work with single baskets?
No. The QuinSpin supports double-basket geometries only, and the manufacturer advises against it for bars that use both single and double baskets.
How is the QuinSpin installed?
It mounts into a counter or another flat surface and is secured from underneath with the supplied stainless steel clamp set, so you need access below the bench. All fixings are included in the box.
Is a grounds container included?
No. Grounds fall straight through the unit, so you need a container or bin liner positioned below the counter to catch them; this is not supplied with the unit.
