Di Pacci — Limited Edition Dual-Boiler Flow-Control Espresso Machine
Lelit Bianca 40th Anniversary Limited Edition 2026
Four decades of Italian espresso engineering, marked once and never repeated — 1986 machines worldwide, each individually numbered into the steel.
The Lelit Bianca 40th Anniversary is the machine Lelit built to mark forty years, and the run is capped at 1986 units globally — one for every year since the company began. Each machine carries its own number, from 0001 to 1986, micro-punched directly into the steel beneath a commissioned illustration by an Italian artist. Zebrano wood replaces the standard walnut across the paddle, knobs, adjustable feet, handles and portafilters, and the body, water tank, drip tray and wire grate are finished in polished AISI 304 stainless steel.
Underneath the artwork, nothing has been traded away for the sake of appearances. This is the full PL162T specification: dual stainless boilers, a silent rotary pump, dual PID, the LCC display and the patented flow-control lever that made the Bianca the reference point for prosumer espresso. Where most machines give you one pressure for the entire shot, the Bianca hands you the curve — shape it by hand on the paddle, or program the opening phase digitally and repeat it exactly. Once these 1986 are gone, that is the entire population of these machines, permanently.

Key Features of the Bianca 40th Anniversary
🎨 Commissioned Anniversary Illustration
An original artwork by an Italian artist traces flowing forms across the body — movement radiating from a hand holding a single coffee bean.
🔢 Individually Numbered Steel
Each of the 1986 machines carries its own serial, 0001 to 1986, micro-punched into the steel beneath the illustration. Not a plate, not a sticker.
🪵 Zebrano Wood Throughout
Dark-striped hardwood on the paddle, steam and water knobs, adjustable feet, handles and portafilters. No two grain patterns are alike.
🎟️ Manual Flow-Control Paddle
The patented lever on the E61 group gives you real-time pressure profiling, with live manometer feedback as the shot runs.
♻️ Dual Stainless Steel Boilers
Independent 800ml coffee and 1.5L steam boilers let you pull and steam at once, with no trade-off between brew stability and steam power.
🔇 Silent Rotary Pump
A commercial-grade rotary pump instead of the vibratory pump found in most machines at this level — quiet enough to talk over.
What Is Flow Control & Why It Matters
Most espresso machines give you one pressure: whatever the pump makes, for as long as the shot runs. The Bianca lets you change it live, with your hand on the paddle and the group manometer showing exactly what the puck is receiving. You can also program the opening phase digitally through the LCC for repeatability. In practice, that means you can:
- Open gently at low pressure so the puck saturates evenly before extraction begins — the most effective defence against channelling
- Ramp to full pressure for the body of the shot
- Taper off at the end, pulling back before the extraction turns harsh and bitter
The payoff is clarity. Light roasts and single origins that taste thin and sour on a fixed-pressure machine open up completely once you can shape the curve, and dark roasts smooth out. This is the feature people buy a Bianca for — everything else on the spec sheet is excellent, but this is the part that changes how you make coffee.

Di Pacci recommendation: If you were already buying a Bianca, buy this one — the mechanical package is identical and the allocation won't be repeated. If you already own a V3, treat this as a collector's purchase rather than a performance upgrade, and we'll tell you that honestly before you order.
Pair It With the Right Grinder
The Bianca demands a quality burr grinder to unlock its potential, and flow profiling exposes a mediocre grind instantly. Di Pacci's recommended pairings:

Who This Machine Is For
✓ Ideal if you:
- Want a Bianca and would rather own the version only 1986 people can
- Are an intermediate-to-advanced home barista ready to work with flow control
- Drink single-origin and light roasts and chase clarity
- Make multiple milk drinks daily (the dual boiler earns its keep)
- Are stepping up from a single-boiler or heat-exchanger machine
- Want a plumb-in option for a café-style setup
✗ Consider alternatives if you:
- Are a beginner — the learning curve is steep; see the Lelit Anna or a heat-exchanger machine
- Have limited bench space (290×500×400mm, 26.5kg)
- Don't yet have a quality grinder — budget for one too
- Want it bundled with a grinder — see the Bianca + Niche Zero or Bianca + Varia VS6 bundles
Lelit Bianca 40th Anniversary — Frequently Asked Questions
How many were made, and can I choose my serial number?
1986 worldwide, matching the year Lelit was founded, each numbered 0001 to 1986 and micro-punched into the steel beneath the illustration. Call us before ordering and we'll tell you what's in our current allocation — we can't guarantee a specific number, but we'll always tell you what's on the shelf.
Is it mechanically different from a standard Bianca V3?
No. It's the full PL162T specification — same dual boilers, same E61 flow-control group, same rotary pump and dual PID. The differences are the artwork, the numbered steel, Zebrano in place of walnut, and the polished AISI 304 finish.
What is Zebrano wood?
A dense West African hardwood with strong dark striping, used here on the paddle, knobs, adjustable feet, handles and portafilters. Every piece has its own grain, so no two machines look identical.
Can it brew and steam at the same time?
Yes — two separate boilers (800ml coffee, 1.5L steam), each with its own PID, so full steam power never costs you brew temperature stability.
What grinder should I pair with it?
A quality burr grinder is essential. Strong pairings include the Niche Zero, Eureka Mignon Specialita, Turin DF64 Gen 2.5, Mazzer Mini Electronic or Varia VS3 — see the pairing table above and our grinder range.
Can it be plumbed in?
Yes, and the direct plumbing accessories are included in the box. You can also run it from the 2.5L removable tank and switch later. Di Pacci can arrange plumbed installation for Sydney metro.
Is it suitable for beginners?
It's best suited to intermediate-to-advanced baristas — flow control and dual PID management take practice. Beginners may prefer the Lelit Anna or a heat-exchanger machine and step up later. Call us on (02) 9758 0760 and we'll give you a straight answer.
Does Di Pacci service Lelit Bianca machines?
Yes — our in-house technicians are authorised Lelit service specialists, with all parts in stock. Book service online or call (02) 9758 0760.
