This used La Marzocco Swift combines grinding, dosing, and tamping in one automated step for consistent espresso preparation every time. It has just been fitted with brand-new hoppers, passed our 60-point safety check, and been fully serviced, cleaned, and tested.
Designed for busy cafes, the Swift grinds directly into the portafilter and tamps automatically with consistent pressure, removing barista-to-barista variability and speeding up service during peak periods. Two large hoppers, each with independent stepless grind adjustment and its own programmable button, let one grinder serve two coffees, such as a house blend and decaf. Flat ceramic burrs minimize heat build-up for stable results, and volumetric dosing is accurate to within a fraction of a gram. Automated tamping also reduces the repetitive wrist and shoulder strain that comes with high-volume espresso work.
