Description

Di Pacci — Commercial Espresso Machines — USA

Fracino Retro 2 Group — Piston/Lever Espresso Machine

The Retro is Fracino's tribute to the 1950s coffee bar — a manual lever machine in highly polished stainless steel. Pulling the lever drives a piston through the brass-bodied group, giving the barista direct physical control over each shot, a genuinely different experience from a push-button machine.

A 14-liter copper boiler and 130mm group clearance keep it practical for daily commercial use behind the theater, while a triple contact pressure switch and automatic water level system handle the details so the barista can focus on the pull.

About This Machine

Is this the Dual Fuel version or electric-only?
This listing's specs show a standard electric element with no gas rating, so it's the electric-only Retro. If you need LPG/gas dual-fuel capability, confirm with our team before ordering — Fracino also builds a Dual Fuel version of this lever machine.
Is this the same machine as the Deluxe with Wood version?
Yes — same lever machine, same specs. This standard finish just doesn't include the Deluxe's real wood handles.
How does the piston/lever group work?
Pulling the lever drives a piston through the brass-bodied group, giving the barista direct, physical control over each shot rather than an electronic or button-triggered pump.
Why does it have a lower cups-per-hour rating than other Fracino models?
Manual lever machines are limited by how fast a barista can physically pull the lever for each shot, so throughput runs lower than electronically-dosed machines — that's the tradeoff for hands-on lever extraction.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the warranty on a coffee machine?

All Di Pacci products include a warranty on non-consumable parts. New machines carry 12–24 months, and used or pre-owned machines carry 3 months. Our skilled technicians are available for after-sales support throughout your warranty and beyond.

What is the shipping policy?

We ship US-wide via air freight, with a tracking number provided on every order. Shipping is calculated at checkout. If you'd like a delivery estimate before you buy, contact our team on +1 (646) 774-0590 or see our shipping policy.

Do I have to pay tariffs or customs duties?

No. All tariffs and customs duties are included in the price and covered by Di Pacci Coffee Company. There are no extra steps for you and no surprise fees on delivery — the price you see is the price you pay.

Are used machines tested before sale?

Yes. Every pre-owned, ex-demo, and ex-training-room machine is inspected and fully serviced by our qualified technicians before it ships — many go through a detailed multi-point safety check. They're cleaned, tested, and ready to work on arrival, so you get proven performance at a fraction of new-machine cost.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy — you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase, and a 30% restocking fee applies. Contact us first to start a return (items sent back without authorization can't be accepted). Sale items and gift cards are non-returnable. See our full return policy or email support@dipacciusa.com.

Do you provide after-sales support?

Yes. Our skilled technicians provide after-sales support to all customers. If you have a question about setup, servicing, or your machine after purchase, reach out any time at support@dipacciusa.com or +1 (646) 774-0590.
