Ditting KR1203 Coffee Grinder — 120 mm Discs, 1400 g/min

The Ditting KR1203 is a bulk shop grinder built for one thing: grinding large volumes of coffee quickly, uniformly, and without cooking the beans. Its 120 mm precision discs and purpose-built motor sustain 1400 g per minute, which is the throughput that makes retail bag-grinding and roastery order fulfilment practical rather than painful.

Ditting's finely sharpened discs grind cold and gently, which is what preserves the aromatic oils that carry a coffee's character — the difference you taste when bulk-ground coffee still smells like the roast three days later. Grind fineness adjusts continuously across the range, and between the hand tapper and the bag-shaking mechanism, very little grind is left behind in the discharge tube and what does come out is distributed evenly into the bag.

Ideal For

Roasteries grinding to order, supermarkets and grocers running a bean-to-bag service, and high-volume coffee shops that grind retail bags alongside bar service. At 38 kg and 640 mm tall it is a fixed-position machine rather than something you move between benches, so plan its spot before it arrives.

About This Grinder

What is the difference between the Ditting KR1203 and the KR1403?
Disc size and throughput. The KR1203 runs 120 mm grinding discs, while the KR1403 steps up to larger discs and higher output. If your bottleneck is how fast you can grind retail bags, the 1403 is the answer; if 1400 g per minute clears your volume, the 1203 does the same job for less.
What electrical supply does the KR1203 need in the US?
The manufacturer specification lists 240 V single-phase. US mains is typically 120 V, and 240 V circuits need dedicated wiring and the correct outlet. Please contact our team to confirm the exact supply configuration of the unit we ship you before you order or book an electrician.
How long do the grinding discs last?
The discs are made from highly wear-resistant material and, if properly maintained, the originals can be re-sharpened up to three times before replacement. That materially lowers the running cost compared with grinders whose burrs are simply replaced when worn.
Is the KR1203 suitable for espresso grinding?
It is designed as a bulk shop grinder for retail and filter grinding rather than as an on-demand espresso bar grinder. It adjusts finely enough for a range of methods, but for dosing espresso shot by shot at the bar you want a dedicated espresso grinder — talk to our team and we will match one to your setup.
