Ditting KFA1203 Coffee Grinder — 120 mm Discs, 1400 g/min

The Ditting KFA1203 is the automatic-bagging version of the 1203 platform: 120 mm precision grinding discs, an 1100 g hopper, sustained output of 1400 g per minute, and an automatic coffee bag attachment. That last part is the reason to choose it over the KR — if you are filling bags all day, automating the attachment removes the slowest manual step in the process.

The 1203 platform's reputation rests on how it grinds, not just how fast. Ditting's finely sharpened discs cut cold and gently, preserving the aromatic oils that carry a coffee's character instead of driving them off as heat. Fineness adjusts continuously, and the discs are wear-resistant enough to be re-sharpened up to three times rather than simply replaced.

About This Grinder

What electrical supply does the KFA1203 need in the US?
The manufacturer specification lists 240 V single-phase. US mains is typically 120 V, and a 240 V circuit needs dedicated wiring and the correct outlet. Contact our team to confirm the supply configuration of the unit we ship you before you order or book an electrician.
How does the KFA1203 differ from the KR1203?
The bag attachment. KFA uses an automatic coffee bag attachment; KR uses a manual attachment with a vibration unit that settles the grounds as the bag fills. Both sit on the same 1203 platform and share disc size, hopper capacity and grinding output, so the choice comes down to whether you want bagging automated or under manual control.
Should I choose the 1203 or step up to the 1403?
The 1203 runs 120 mm discs at 1400 g per minute, which clears most roastery and retail workloads comfortably. The 1403 uses larger discs for higher throughput and suits operations where grinding is the bottleneck in daily production. If you are unsure, tell us your daily kilos and we will size it properly.
How long do the grinding discs last?
The discs are made from highly wear-resistant material and, maintained properly, the originals can be re-sharpened up to three times before they need replacing. Over the life of the machine that is a real cost difference compared with grinders whose burrs are simply discarded when worn.
