Description

Developed for the aspiring barista with a penchant for skateboarding, Caffewerks designed this specialty tamper in Seattle Washington, U.S. It's made from high quality materials, and designed with comfort in mind. Available in 8 cool colours: black, red, white, orange, pink, yellow, light blue and dark blue.

The skateboard wheel can spin slightly if desired, but can also be locked down by tightening the nut on top of the tamper handle. To loosen, simply turn the nut counterclockwise. The tamper is also able to be customized by swapping out the stock wheels and replacing it with any skateboard wheel of choice. All skateboard wheels fit!

This tamper is designed with a 58.4mm base with a hybrid style base made of stainless steel, ulitizing the best of both convex and flat tamper design. It fits most all prosumer and commercial espresso machines requiring a 58mm tamper base.

Why a 58.4mm base? This size has proven to be the most popular amongst the professional barista community. The fit of this tamper base to the portafilter basket allows for a better result in tamping by scraping any residual coffee grounds from the sides of the basket. The convex edge tamping surface allows for a consistent seal to prevent the bypassing of water in the coffee bed resulting in a more uniform extraction.

We offer a 14-day return policy — you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase, and a 30% restocking fee applies.
