Description

Di Pacci — Commercial Espresso Machines — USA

Expobar Ruggero Classic 2 Group — Hand-Built Compact Espresso Machine

The Ruggero was designed by John Slade in 2005 as a tribute to his father-in-law, Henry Rogers — known to his clients as "Rodg," one of the first espresso service technicians in Melbourne. Every Ruggero is still hand-built to order today, in the color and signage you choose, not pulled off a shelf.

Underneath the custom finish is a genuinely capable compact machine: a copper boiler with heat exchange per group, electronic volumetric dosing, and automatic water filling. It's built for operators who want a machine that looks and performs like nothing else on the bar.

About This Machine

Who designed the Ruggero, and what's the story behind the name?
John Slade designed the Ruggero in 2005 as a tribute to his father-in-law, Henry Rogers — known to clients as "Rodg," one of Melbourne's first espresso service technicians. The name comes from the Italian-origin nickname Rodg.
What's the difference between the Standard and High Group styles?
Both are the same machine with different group-head clearance. High Group adds extra room under the group for taller takeaway cups, while Standard suits regular cup sizes.
Can I customize the color and signage?
Yes. Every Ruggero is hand-built to order in your choice of color, with a customizable light box sign — both need to be confirmed when you place your order.
Is this a stock item or built to order?
It's a custom hand-built machine made to order, not a stocked item, so lead times run longer than off-the-shelf machines. Contact us for a current build estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the warranty on a coffee machine?

All Di Pacci products include a warranty on non-consumable parts. New machines carry 12–24 months, and used or pre-owned machines carry 3 months. Our skilled technicians are available for after-sales support throughout your warranty and beyond.

What is the shipping policy?

We ship US-wide via air freight, with a tracking number provided on every order. Shipping is calculated at checkout. If you'd like a delivery estimate before you buy, contact our team on +1 (646) 774-0590 or see our shipping policy.

Do I have to pay tariffs or customs duties?

No. All tariffs and customs duties are included in the price and covered by Di Pacci Coffee Company. There are no extra steps for you and no surprise fees on delivery — the price you see is the price you pay.

Are used machines tested before sale?

Yes. Every pre-owned, ex-demo, and ex-training-room machine is inspected and fully serviced by our qualified technicians before it ships — many go through a detailed multi-point safety check. They're cleaned, tested, and ready to work on arrival, so you get proven performance at a fraction of new-machine cost.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy — you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase, and a 30% restocking fee applies. Contact us first to start a return (items sent back without authorization can't be accepted). Sale items and gift cards are non-returnable. See our full return policy or email support@dipacciusa.com.

Do you provide after-sales support?

Yes. Our skilled technicians provide after-sales support to all customers. If you have a question about setup, servicing, or your machine after purchase, reach out any time at support@dipacciusa.com or +1 (646) 774-0590.
